Starting trauma therapy can feel scary and that’s okay❤️🩹
For most people the first step in therapy can be the most daunting. Many people dread retelling their story. We want to reassure you that in your consultation call you don’t have to tell us the details of what happened to you. We may ask what issues you’re looking to resolve in therapy, how long ago abuse happened, or talk about your safety if needed. The details can be saved for when you feel comfortable with your therapist to help process your experience.
