The 33rd Annual Boston Red Sox Celebrity Event Series brought Southwest Florida together once again for an incredible cause — supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida! ⚾💙

This year, the series raised $385,000, directly impacting programs that help children learn, communicate, grow, and thrive through specialized evaluations, therapies, and comprehensive family-centered care.

Across the Boston “Tee” Party, the Celebrity Golf Classic, and Dinner on the Diamond, supporters, athletes, volunteers, and partners like the Boston Red Sox and The Forest Country Club helped fuel life-changing services for kids and families who need them.

Since 1993, this event series has raised more than $16.1 million — ensuring local children receive the advanced care they deserve, close to home.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to our Southwest Florida community! Today our team is feeling grateful to support a region that continues to grow and thrive.

We recently celebrated the topping off of Lee Health Fort Myers, a major milestone in a project that will expand access to advanced, compassionate care.

This campus represents an important investment in meeting the needs of our growing Southwest Florida community. Built with hurricane hardened features, including Category 5 resilience and redundant power and water systems, Lee Health Fort Myers is designed to support the community even during the most challenging times.

There are more than 500 opportunities to leave a legacy at Lee Health Fort Myers, from naming patient rooms and clinical spaces to supporting endowed positions and vital programs. Every gift helps shape the future of care in Southwest Florida.

For questions or opportunities to support the future of healthcare in our region, contact Katy Martinez at 239‑343‑6076 or Katy.Martinez@LeeHealth.org.

Today we’re celebrating Christian on his last day as a Project SEARCH Lee County intern with Lee Health Foundation — and what an incredible journey it’s been!

Christian has brought enthusiasm, heart, and a true willingness to learn every single day. We are so grateful for the impact he’s made on our team.

His mentor, Jacob, once stood in those same shoes. Jacob was also a Project SEARCH intern before being hired as a Stewardship Associate at Lee Health Foundation. Now, he’s paying it forward as a mentor.

We are so proud of you, Christian, and so thankful for leaders like Jacob who make a lasting difference!💙

Some very important guests arrived early for the 10th Annual MarineMax Yacht Gala. 🦉✨

Burrowing owls popped their heads out to supervise setup… so naturally, we made it official and gave them tuxedos. Black tie required, obviously.

Even wildlife approves of the SEA STAR Program at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida! 💙⚓

Under a million stars, Southwest Florida came together for something truly meaningful.

The 10th Annual MarineMax Yacht Gala marked a diamond anniversary and a powerful milestone. Over the past decade, this event has now raised more than $2.5 million to advance pediatric care in our community.

This year’s celebration supports the SEA STAR Program (Safety Education Awareness, Sensory Training – Autism Readiness) at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, helping create sensory-friendly environments for children with autism and sensory sensitivities.

From Florida’s first sensory-friendly ambulance to calming enhancements across emergency and inpatient settings, SEA STAR is changing what healthcare feels like for families across Southwest Florida.

Spirit Halloween recently presented a $52,143 check to support Child Life services at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida through Spirit of Children!

Since 2007, Spirit Halloween has raised more than $529,000 locally to support children and families during hospitalization.

When a child is admitted to the hospital, the experience can feel frightening and overwhelming. Child Life Specialists work alongside physicians and nurses to reduce fear and anxiety through play, education, and emotional support.

The Child Life program at Golisano Children’s Hospital is fully donor funded. Spirit of Children contributions help provide:
• Certified Child Life Specialists
• Sensory tools, adaptive toys, and medical teaching dolls
• Therapeutic programs including art, music, education, and canine assisted therapy

We are deeply grateful to Spirit Halloween and every customer who participated in the Spirit of Children campaign. Your generosity brings comfort, confidence, and moments of joy to children when they need it most!
