Some very important guests arrived early for the 10th Annual MarineMax Yacht Gala. 🦉✨

Burrowing owls popped their heads out to supervise setup… so naturally, we made it official and gave them tuxedos. Black tie required, obviously.

Even wildlife approves of the SEA STAR Program at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida! 💙⚓

**Disclaimer: We worked closely with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to ensure there was no disruption to the owls’ habitat, health, or safety.**

Under a million stars, Southwest Florida came together for something truly meaningful.

The 10th Annual MarineMax Yacht Gala marked a diamond anniversary and a powerful milestone. Over the past decade, this event has now raised more than $2.5 million to advance pediatric care in our community.

This year’s celebration supports the SEA STAR Program (Safety Education Awareness, Sensory Training – Autism Readiness) at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, helping create sensory-friendly environments for children with autism and sensory sensitivities.

From Florida’s first sensory-friendly ambulance to calming enhancements across emergency and inpatient settings, SEA STAR is changing what healthcare feels like for families across Southwest Florida.

Spirit Halloween recently presented a $52,143 check to support Child Life services at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida through Spirit of Children!

Since 2007, Spirit Halloween has raised more than $529,000 locally to support children and families during hospitalization.

When a child is admitted to the hospital, the experience can feel frightening and overwhelming. Child Life Specialists work alongside physicians and nurses to reduce fear and anxiety through play, education, and emotional support.

The Child Life program at Golisano Children’s Hospital is fully donor funded. Spirit of Children contributions help provide:
• Certified Child Life Specialists
• Sensory tools, adaptive toys, and medical teaching dolls
• Therapeutic programs including art, music, education, and canine assisted therapy

We are deeply grateful to Spirit Halloween and every customer who participated in the Spirit of Children campaign. Your generosity brings comfort, confidence, and moments of joy to children when they need it most!

Lex Roulston had always lived an active life. He did not feel seriously unwell. But when overwhelming fatigue began to take over his days, he knew something had changed. Testing revealed aortic stenosis, a narrowing of the aortic valve that restricts blood flow from the heart to the body.

Several physicians recommended open-heart surgery. Lex was not comfortable with that path.

Then he met Daniel O’Hair at Lee Health Heart Institute.

Instead of opening his chest, Dr. O’Hair performed a minimally invasive TAVR procedure. It took less than an hour. The improvement was almost immediate.

Today, Lex is back to doing what he loves.

Stories like Lex’s are possible because donors invest in innovation, technology, and expert heart care close to home.

This Heart Month, your generosity helps transform lives across Southwest Florida.

Dinner on the Diamond returns to JetBlue Park on March 10, bringing the community together for a meaningful evening supporting children with autism and sensory sensitivities at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

As a Certified Autism Center™, Golisano Children’s Hospital is leading the way in creating care environments where children feel safe, understood, and supported. Philanthropy helps make that possible, from specialized programs to innovative sensory-friendly care.

The Boston Red Sox Event Series has raised more than $15.8 million for local kids, and this event continues that legacy of impact for families across Southwest Florida.

Elizabeth Goldbach spent months dealing with severe peri-menopausal bleeding that affected every part of her life. When other treatments did not work, she chose to move forward with a total hysterectomy.

Because of generous donors, her care team at Lee Health was able to use the da Vinci robotic surgical system to perform a minimally invasive procedure. This technology allowed for smaller incisions, less pain, reduced bleeding, and a quicker recovery.

Elizabeth went home the same day and did not need pain medication. Today, she says she feels stronger, healthier, and grateful to have her life back.

Donor support helps bring advanced surgical technology to patients when they need it most. Your generosity can help create better outcomes and brighter futures.

Cancer changes more than the body. It affects every part of life.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Lee Health Cancer Institute has brought Cancer Support Community to Southwest Florida. This fully donor-funded program provides free psychosocial support to anyone impacted by cancer, including patients, caregivers, and loved ones.

From support groups and education to yoga, art, music, and pet therapy, Cancer Support Community offers a welcoming space where people can connect, recharge, and feel understood. Located within Lee Health’s Regional Cancer Center, the environment is designed to feel less like a hospital and more like home.

This program would not exist without donor support. Because of our community’s generosity, individuals facing cancer have access to comfort, connection, and care beyond medical treatment.

Your support helps ensure no one faces cancer alone.
