Jana is a Fort Payne High School graduate who earned her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University and graduate degree from Chamberlain University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Anthony Sims, MD

Dr. Sims is a board-certified family medicine provider who has been practicing in DeKalb County for 19 years. He is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County and graduated from Sylvania High School in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jacksonville State University in 1997. Dr. Sims then continued his education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.

Dr. Sims treats a wide variety of acute sicknesses and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypothyroidism, among others.

“Having a Primary Care Provider is important. When you build a relationship, we can create a plan of care to work towards your optimal health. As a P*P, it’s our goal to have the patient’s best health at heart.”
