Our Story

Florida Center for Recovery (FCR), a leading addiction treatment center in the US, provides supervised medical detox and rehab programs to treat alcoholism, drug addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. We are a 72-bed rehab facility accredited and certified by The Joint Commission, which sets the standard for delivery of safe and effective care of the highest quality and value for our clients, nationally and locally in Florida. As a licensed detox and addiction rehab facility, Florida Center For Recovery, provides treatment care for those struggling with the disease of addiction in counties and cities throughout the nation.

FCR offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs for both men and women 18 and older, including specialized programs for expectant mothers, chronic relapsers and for individuals who are struggling with PTSD.

Our rehab center's history started on Long Island in 1995, where our founder, Jack Hamilton, opened his first facility. In 2002, broadening his vision of bringing comprehensive yet affordable treatment to heal and nurture individuals struggling with addiction, he established FCR on the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida.
