Being a small business isn’t always about having the perfect plan—it’s about having the grit to figure it out when things get tough.

From late-night learning curves to navigating the wild world of logistics, we’ve taken pride in being self-taught and self-driven. But we only keep "figuring it out" because we have a reason to: You.

To our loyal members: Your support is the fuel behind our innovation. Every time you choose the Co-op, you’re betting on us. We are so incredibly thankful for this community that stands by us while we grow, learn, and build something better every day.

We’re still here, still learning, and so glad you’re on this journey with us.

Here is to an incredible new year!

As the new year kicks off, many of us are thinking about fresh starts and healthier habits. If "eating better" or "being more mindful" is on your resolution list, why not take it a step further this year and go organic?

Choosing organic isn't just a trend; it's a commitment to cleaner eating, supporting sustainable practices, and often, enjoying more flavorful, nutrient-rich foods.
And here's an idea to make that resolution stick: Join our Co-op! 🤝

Being part of a co-op means:
Access to fresh Organic Produce, Local and Wholesale!

Community Connection: Meet like-minded people who share your passion for good food.

Supporting Local: Your dollar directly impacts our local economy, businesses & farmers.

Let's make 2024 the year we truly nourish ourselves and our community. Ditch the doubt, embrace the organic, and come grow with us!

Current status: Entering my peak performance era. My workout plan is simple, effective, and involves zero travel time.

The Heavy Lift: Deadlifting my massive Co-op delivery box from the front porch to the kitchen counter. (Does organic kale weigh more than regular kale? Because my biceps say yes. 💪)

The Cardio: Speed-running to the living room to start my home workout video before the "I should just nap" thoughts win. 🏃💨

Basically, if you see me in my leggings eating a farm-fresh apple while staring intensely at a yoga instructor on my laptop... mind your business. I’m thriving. 🍎🧘‍♀️

Who else is setting their goals from the comfort of their own living room this new year?

The strongest families are built around a table. It is where we pass down more than just recipes—it is where we share our strength, our laughter, and the vibrant health that allows us to dream together

There is no medicine more powerful than a home-cooked meal, and no bond more resilient than the one forged over a shared bowl of fresh harvest. To eat well is to love well.

In conventional farming, plants are "pampered" with synthetic pesticides.

Because the chemicals do all the work of fighting off bugs and fungi, the plant becomes "lazy."

In contrast, organic plants have to defend themselves. To survive, they produce natural defense compounds called secondary metabolites (like polyphenols and antioxidants).

🎁The Fact: Studies have shown that organic produce can have 19% to 69% higher levels of antioxidants than conventional produce.

🥊The Benefit: When you eat organic, you aren't just avoiding poison; you are consuming a plant that is a "fighter," and those defense compounds translate directly into anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer benefits for your body.

🫜 Conventional produce is often pumped with nitrogen fertilizer, which makes the fruit grow fast and large but also fills it with more water. Organic produce is usually smaller and more "dense," leading to a more concentrated, intense flavor.

🥬Seasonality & Freshness: Because organic food doesn't contain the same preservatives as conventional food, it is often sold closer to where it's grown.

🍓 This means you’re eating food that was picked at its nutritional and flavor peak.

While many conventional foods stay within "legal safety limits," the frequency of exposure is the main difference

4x Cleaner: Research indicates that detectable pesticide residues are four times less likely to be found on organic crops compared to conventional ones.

Multiple Residues: Conventional produce is much more likely to harbor "pesticide cocktails" (multiple different chemicals on a single piece of fruit), whereas organic produce rarely contains more than one, if any.

Toxic Metals: Organic crops have been found to have roughly 48% lower concentrations of cadmium, a toxic heavy metal that accumulates in the kidneys and liver.

Give yourself body the support its been looking for, go organic.
