Sandi is currently receiving care in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, and she had powerful words about the team helping her through her recovery.

She shared how Miledie, Frankie, and Director David have shaped her experience:

“They greeted me with the biggest smiles. Everyone treats me like family — the way you’d treat your own mother. David’s positivity and the encouragement from the whole team make such a difference. I almost don’t want to go home because of how cared for I feel.”

We are honored to have you on our team, Brittany!

From patient to colleague, Brittany’s story is what makes HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital so special.

After receiving care in our hospital and Physical Rehabilitation Center last year, Brittany was so inspired by her experience that she decided to join our team! She became a rehab aide in August, giving back to patients the same compassion she once received.

“My care was just phenomenal. They cared for me like I was family. Everybody was so friendly. For me being a patient and having that connection with the staff meant so much to me. That alone made me want to be a part of this family. Now I get to have that same connection with my patients.” – Brittany

Today we hosted a surprise retirement party for our beloved Kathy from case management. It has been such a joy and honor to work alongside you all these years. Wishing you the happiest of retirements and all the luck with your future. We miss you already, Kathy!!! ❤️

Today we hosted our 2025 Easter Party for our patients and their families. This year's theme was arts and crafts, such as painting Easter eggs and bunnies. We even had a special visit from the beloved Banner the therapy dog.
