The holidays will look different this year but different doesn't have to mean bad. We are grateful to have the opportunity to therapeutically heal and help others; so, if you or someone you know needs help, don't hesitate to reach out and remember that no one has to go through this holiday season alone. Despite the changes and challenges, even in this "new normal", we can all come together through acts of kindness and caring for each other. Via telehealth or in-person counseling or psychiatric services, targeted case management, or community outreach, our caring staff at YFBHC will continue to serve our community throughout these tough times and the holiday season. 🍂

Research has shown the mental health impact of the increased stressors from quarantine and social distancing which has become the new normal due to COVID-19. Adjusting to these changes has been a challenge for many and it is okay to ask for help to improve your mental health during this stressful time. YFBHC office is open both virtually and physically to help youth, adults, and families in the Treasure Coast community.

COVID-19 can trigger fears and intensify existing mental illnesses.

May is Mental Heath month and while 1 in 5 people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime, everyone faces challenges in life that can impact their mental health. The good news is there are practical tools that everyone can use to improve their mental health and increase resiliency - and, even during times of social distancing, there are ways that everyone can be supportive of friends, family, and co-workers who are struggling with life’s challenges or their mental health.
Please, don’t hesitate to call us for further support or information.

As COVID quarantine and social distancing seem to be a new normal for our lives, we continue to provide support through virtual mental health services. Coping with the stress of these changes will make you, your loved ones, and your community stronger. Staying connected is critical during this chaotic time and ensuring that our community is healthy, both physically and mentally, is a top priority for us. We want the community to know that we are still here and are prepared to continue serving our clients and their families while adhering to social distancing policy; thankfully, we can continue to extend our reach to others because intakes can be completed virtually as well. If you or someone you know needs help, there is hope. Through telehealth services provided by YFBHC, the route to hope and help is as easy as making a phone call! Don't hesitate and reach out today by calling (772) 242-1079. Remember, we are all in this together.
