Jacqueline is headed to Hot Springs today to attend the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association (ANPA) 2026 Annual Conference! 🩺
The ANPA is a professional organization dedicated to supporting Nurse Practitioners across Arkansas through advocacy, continuing education, leadership development, and promoting high-quality healthcare throughout the state. Conferences like this allow providers to stay current on the latest research, treatments, and best practices so they can continue delivering excellent care to their patients.
Nurse Practitioners have been safely and effectively caring for patients for more than 50 years. According to PubMed, patients are more satisfied with care from a Nurse Practitioner than from a Doctor, with no difference in health outcomes. Research continues to show the positive impact Nurse Practitioners have on both clinical outcomes and patient experience. Studies have found high levels of patient satisfaction with NP care, often due to the time they spend listening, educating, and building strong relationships with patients. Evidence also supports improved access to care, shorter wait times, strong chronic disease management, and cost-effective healthcare when compared to traditional provider-led models.
Nurse Practitioners are trained to provide a full range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting lab work and imaging, prescribing medications, creating treatment plans, and promoting lifelong wellness from childhood through adulthood. They are especially known for their focus on prevention, health promotion, evidence-based medicine, and treating the whole person.
We are proud of Jacqueline for continuing her education, staying up to date in healthcare, and representing Phillips Medical Clinic at this year’s conference! 🩵🩺👏🏼
