We are just over 4 weeks away from A Night in the Caribbean! ✨

Just a couple reminders before the big night:
🌴Only CARD payments will be accepted at the event. This includes all activities as well as the live and silent auctions. Cash will ONLY be accepted as a form of payment for the Drawdown activity. We know this is a big change, but going cashless will help us keep our accounting processes for the evening clean and organized.

🌴Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. All event tickets must be purchased by April 17th to give us time to finalize catering numbers, table assignments, and bidder numbers. THANK YOU to the River Valley Ovarian Cancer Alliance for their massive donation today of supplies and decor to the Kistler Center. After serving the women of the River Valley for over 20 years, they are beginning a new chapter and graciously offered to give us their tropical decor from their annual fundraiser Teal Night in Tahiti since we also have a tropical themed fundraiser, A Night in the Caribbean. We filled two SUVs and a truck full of stuff today all of which will be valuable to us as we continue to grow. A video of everything donated is in the comments.

Today, while organizing our storage closet we found a piece of Kistler Center History! Did you know that we were founded in 1978 and started out as a one room operation in what was Sparks Hospital (now Baptist)? We are so grateful to still be pursuing our mission of serving children and individuals with disabilities in the Fort Smith region 48 years later! 🩵

One of the best parts of working at The Kistler Center is getting to see our kids who receive therapy services grow their skills and confidence through their treatment.

Patients like Matthew work hard during their therapy sessions and it’s a privilege for us to walk alongside them during their journey. Matthew rocked his Physical Therapy session with Ms. Crystal this afternoon and we’re so proud of him! 🙂
