Real talk… 😅

I LOVE my clients. Seriously, you make my job amazing, and I appreciate every single one of you ❤️.

But if you’re feeling like absolute garbage 🤒 — running a fever, can’t-even-think-straight kind of sick — please stay home. Reschedule your appointment. The holidays are here, and I’m not normally one to worry about this stuff, but I’ve got kids and a grandson, and I just can’t risk bringing germs into my family. I’m not trying to be sick for the holidays y’all. I promise you…  I’d rather you reschedule.

For those of us in the beauty industry, we don’t get paid sick leave — we are self-employed, juggling clients, families, and elderly loved ones. So let’s all be considerate. Bottom line if you feel like garbage… you probably shouldn’t go anywhere…. Much less be all up in ma grill🤣

I spent all morning however now I'm finally on the Google search bar! However, to find, type in sports massage therapy in greenwood AR. It will pop up SS Massage LLC. Also I believe Google maps will take you to the back door which is ok; the door looks like this, and is on Atlanta St. In greenwood AR (behind the sq).

This lady is another massage instructor and she says the different neurologic laws. It is kind of a long video (around 13 minutes) however, if you have time to put a earbud in and listen while you work, it's great information to know not only about chronic pain, how it starts and then becomes chronic (pflugers's 5 parts) It helps you to take action on how to help you get to feeling better! And yes I have seen clients with chronic pain feel much better with maintenance.

I have had a couple of people ask what is " neuromuscular" massage. It is a combination of trigger point work, as well as knowing a good deal about the nervous system (one of my favorite systems LOL, along with the muscular system) which involves knowing some of the neurologic laws. (Such as Hilton's law, pflugers law, Arndt-schittz law) Which I will share in a separate video. Below Is an example of someone that had chronic pain that neuromuscular therapy helped with.

We have several great students doing clinicals now, during school hours mon- Thur (some may do Fri) schedule time 9am -1pm (time may vary depending on how long of a massage or spa pkg, for example if the pkg is 2 hours the last time to schedule would be noon, if it's a 1 hour massage it would start at 1 pm and done by 2pm.)

Swedish Massage:  A classic, soothing massage using light to medium pressure to promote deep relaxation, relief of tension, and improved circulation.

👋 Hi! I guess it's time to say that I'm in 2 locations now (still teaching at the massage school on wed/Thur's & will get a few clients after class).
