Did you know falls are the leading cause of injury among older adults?

This fall, check your home for hazards like loose rugs or poor lighting. Small changes can prevent big accidents.

The holidays can be a joyful season, but also a lonely one for older adults.

A phone call, visit, or shared meal can make a world of difference.

Let's come together as a community to make sure our older neighbors feel remembered, valued, and included.

🌟 Honoring an Extraordinary Passenger 🌟

Recently, some of our staff had the privilege of transporting and interviewing one of our most remarkable clients, who is now 104 and a half years old. Every trip with him is a reminder of the resilience, grace, and wisdom that accompany a long life well lived.

He first used AAAWA's transportation service several years ago — for a very special occasion: his 101st birthday party. Since then, it has been an honor to support his mobility needs and to share in the moments that mark his journey.

When we recently asked him for his advice on aging well, he offered a simple yet powerful message:

👉 “Keep on kickin’.”

His words perfectly reflect the determination and optimism that define him. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve him and to learn from the example he sets each day.

Here’s to many more rides, and to the remarkable individuals who inspire us along the way. 🚐✨
