Breastfeeding can be complex. And you want someone who you can trust to help navigate it. The best part is that I come to you☺️

When I had my first baby, I struggled to navigate breastfeeding because there was hardly any support outside of the hospital system. I figured it out along the way, but I decided to become a CLC to help other moms so that they didn’t have to struggle or face it all alone. I come to you in the comfort of your own home which is exactly what I wanted when I was in the thick of it. One consult can change your feeding journey for the better. Reach out if you’re ready to schedule🫶🏻

The medela harmony hand pump. Tiny but mighty. This pump is inexpensive, efficient, and so easy to use! It’s great for pumps on the go, pumping when you’re pressed for time, or even pumping at home when you just need to pump here and there. It’s the goat manual pump in my opinion☺️

So you had your baby. And they’re cluster feeding. And the doubt comes creeping in about your milk supply. How do you know that they’re getting what they need? Short answer: Diaper count, weight checks, overall demeanor in between feeds, and how your breasts feel before and after a feeding🤱🏻

“Which pacifier is best for my baby?” I get this question a lot. Simple answer: one that has a round tip, not a bulb and not flat. Round tips promote good oral motor development and skills. Our local Target did not have many choices but there were a few good ones to choose from!

Such a fun class!

I know that lactation support is scarce in the River Valley, so I do my best to cover multiple AR counties and also cover parts of Le Flore and Sequoyah counties! Text 479-259-1411 to schedule🫶🏻

Are you overwhelmed by the amount of bottles on the market? As a breastfeeding mom myself, I remember feeling so overwhelmed when I was making my registry. My personal favs are Lansinoh and Pigeon. These bottles shown were in my local Target and pass the “triangle test!” Comment “bottle” and I’ll send you the full list that passes!

Pumping spray may not be a necessary tool for you, but it sure can make pumping more efficient and more comfortable, especially when using silicone inserts! One of my favorites is this brand-organic ingredients that are safe for you and baby🙌🏼

From bottle refusal to nursing strikes-I’ve been through it all. I had been exclusively nursing my 9 month old up until one day she woke up from a nap and decided she no longer wanted to nurse. This nursing strike lasted over 24 hours. I went from exclusively nursing to exclusively pumping and making bottles instead. What I learned is that with breastfeeding, things may happen that are out of your control. But having someone by your side to help navigate the unexpected can help give you peace of mind. Signed- your CLC who totally gets it🫶🏻

Have you heard about paced bottle feeding? This is very important when introducing a bottle to your breastfed infant. Pacing the bottle using a slow flow ni**le will help baby learn to “work” at the bottle just like they do at the breast to get milk to flow (instead of it dripping into their mouth when bottle is angled). This also helps prevent a bottle preference or flow preference. Upright position is a great position to help baby pace the feed and reach their fullness cues!

Let’s talk about hand pumps! Medela harmony is my go to manual pump. It’s affordable, portable, and so efficient! It’s my personal favorite because it has two modes. The small lever on top helps trigger a letdown, and the bigger lever helps pull milk out once your milk is flowing. Just make sure you use the correct fl**ge size or silicone insert😊
