February is Heart Health Month, and understanding the signs of a heart attack can save lives, especially for older adults and the people who care about them. ❤️ Heart attacks don’t always look the way people expect. Some symptoms are sudden and intense
but many begin slowly with mild discomfort. Knowing what to look for can make all the difference!

🎉🏡 Congratulations, JW! We are thrilled to celebrate Mr. Holmes’ successful return home with his family following his stay at Covington Court Health & Rehab! 💙

When Mr. Holmes was admitted, he required assistance with transfers and all activities of daily living. He was able to walk only short household distances using a walker with therapist assistance and needed close supervision to ensure safety. Through determination, hard work, and strong family support, Mr. Holmes made remarkable progress. During his skilled nursing stay, he received physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Step by step, his strength and independence grew. 🌟

Today, Mr. Holmes is:
✔️ Independent with activities of daily living
✔️ Walking household distances without a walker
✔️ Walking community distances with a walker
✔️ Able to negotiate steps
✔️ Safely returning home with the support of his wife
