Friends we will be open on Thanksgiving day thanks to our kind volunteers Diana Willis and Marvina Hart! They will be serving with their families! We know the holidays can be hard for some and not everyone is a fan of turkey.🦃 However, we want everyone to experience kindness wherever they may dine. 🥰 So if you want to skip the traditional meal and eat light, stop by Sack Lunch for a free to-go meal, and food for your pet. Visitors may stop by both times. We have compiled a list of other places serving free Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day, Thursday 11/27/25. Please call the places that ask for a RSVP as we do not know the details for attending. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Talk about it Tuesday

Every day, we lose nearly 200 Americans to drug overdose. But today, I want to talk about the singular force that is driving this national catastrophe: Fentanyl. This synthetic opioid is not just a part of the overdose crisis—it is the crisis. For Americans between the ages of 18 and 45, fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death, surpassing car accidents, su***de, and COVID-19. Tonight, we will examine how this single substance has drastically increased the weight of death in our communities and what we must do to push back against this toxic tide."

Monday “From Program to Professionals” series. Harbor House would like to recognize Tyra Godinez!!!

From fighting addictionand legal battles to finding purpose and healing, her journey with Harbor House has been nothing short of transformative.

“I came to HHI HS SWS in 2022 at the lowest point in my life. This program gave me the time, space, and support to rebuild myself. I learned compassion, empathy, and the power of healthy boundaries. Today, as a screening specialist and recovery coach, I get to help others rediscover their worth — just like I did.”

Her message for anyone just starting the program: “Don’t leave before the magic happens. Good things take time, and this is a great place to start.”

She extends heartfelt thanks to the mentors, friends, and loved ones who encouraged her every step of the way. Being part of the Harbor House team now means giving back — one life, one soul, one story at a time.

At the 100 Families Appreciation Event in Sebastian and Crawford County, we celebrated powerful stories of resilience. Families who once felt alone and without options shared how, through this initiative, they found more than stable housing, secure employment, and safe childcare — they found a community that walks beside them and believes in their potential.

A special shoutout to Caitly Wolf, our amazing case manager, whose dedication and compassion have been life-changing for so many families. Caitly embodies what it means to root for people, not problems, and to help them see the possibilities ahead. 🌟

We had such an amazing time celebrating at our annual Thanksgiving luncheon. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Linda Stephens, who once again did an incredible job preparing and serving both our clients and staff.
This year was extra special: we celebrated Linda's 20 years of dedicated service!
It was truly heartwarming to see our staff from Northwest Arkansas, Russellville, Hot Springs, and Fort Smith come together for fellowship, lots of laughs, and tons of love on this special holiday. What a great team—it's another wonderful memory for the books! ❤️
