We are Honoring SGT Russell "Doc" Collier, a brave combat medic with the Arkansas National Guard who was killed in action in October 2004. With this golf tournament we are raising funds to support the Foundation's Education, Scholarship and Professional Development fund.

Part-Time Branch Assistant – FSPL Dallas Street Branch

The Fort Smith Public Library has an opening for a part-time library assistant at the Dallas Street Branch location. Responsibilities include working at the customer service desk, checking in and checking out library materials, assisting customers on public computers & mobile devices, shelving books, curbside pickup duty, and assisting with other tasks as needed. Must be customer service-oriented, friendly, dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to stand/walk for long periods without sitting. Must be computer literate and a fast learner with skills in Microsoft Office and email. Experience using smart phones and tablets is required. Must be comfortable working with a diverse staff and library clientele, including children and teenagers. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour. Work schedules will range between 12 - 20 hours per week with regular hours from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and occasional Saturdays from 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
