🚨 Did you know? Type 2 diabetes isn’t just an adult condition—kids and teens can develop it too. The good news? Small, everyday choices can make a BIG difference! 💙

Let’s work together to keep our kids healthy and active. Here are some simple ways to lower the risk:

✅ Aim for 60 minutes of physical activity a day (it can be broken up!)
✅ Limit screen time when possible
✅ Plan active family outings like walks, hikes, or bike rides
✅ Turn chores into fun competitions with healthy prizes

🥗 Make healthy eating a family goal:
💧 Drink more water and cut back on sugary drinks
🍎 Add more fruits and veggies to meals and snacks
🌾 Swap in whole grains, lean meats, and extra vegetables
👩‍🍳 Get kids involved in cooking—they’re more likely to try what they help make!

Healthy habits start at home—and we’re stronger when we support each other.

More kids are being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, but families can help prevent or manage it.
