🌟 Meet Our Newest Team Member! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Judith Medina, Registered Dietitian, to the Emerald Coast Diabetes and Nutrition Center team!

Originally from Indiana, Judith made Florida home after being stationed in Tampa during her time in the U.S. Air Force. While serving as an Optometry Technician, she discovered a passion for working closely with patients, a passion that led her to pursue a career in nutrition.

She recently earned her Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences from UAB and is committed to making nutrition more inclusive and accessible, especially for those who’ve felt underserved. Judith brings a deep appreciation for the way food connects us to culture, comfort, and celebration and uses that mindset to support clients in meaningful, personalized ways.

Fun fact: Judith once trained with us as a student, and now we’re proud to have her officially on the team!

Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active through running, biking, swimming, and soaking up the Florida sunshine with her husband. ☀️
