Eye safety on Halloween goes beyond contact lenses! Be mindful of costume makeup, props, and masks.

Makeup: Use hypoallergenic, non-toxic makeup and avoid applying it too close to the eye. Never share makeup!

Props: Choose soft, flexible props over sharp, rigid ones to prevent accidental pokes.

Masks: Make sure masks don't block your vision or peripheral sight to avoid trips and falls.

Keep your eyes safe while having a spooktacular time!

Don't Gamble with Your Eyesight This Halloween! ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ
Those cheap decorative contacts you see in costume shops or online might be tempting, but using them is a major risk! Unregulated lenses can carry harmful bacteria, leading to painful infections, corneal ulcers, and even permanent vision loss.

Your vision is simply too precious to risk for a single night of fun. Always remember: all contact lenses require a proper prescription and fitting from an eye doctor. Keep your eyes healthy and safe this spooky season!

The #1 Rule of Halloween Eye Safety

Don't let a costume turn into a real-life horror story! ๐Ÿ‘ป October is Halloween Eye Safety Awareness Month, and our #1 tip is simple: Contact lenses are NOT a costume prop. They are medical devices, and buying them over-the-counter without a prescription is illegal and can lead to painful infections, corneal ulcers, and even permanent vision loss.
Always see a licensed eye doctor for a proper fitting and prescription.
