Tips on inflammation:
1) Turmeric
• Powerful anti-inflammatory
• Helps reduce swelling around the sciatic nerve
Best taken with black pepper for better absorption

How to use:
• 1 teaspoon in warm water or tea daily
• Or turmeric capsules

2) Ginger
• Helps pain, inflammation, and improves circulation
• Great for muscle stiffness too

How to use:
• Boil fresh ginger + drink as tea 1–2 times daily

3) Devil’s Claw
• Very popular for back pain, sciatica, and joint pain
• Works like a natural pain reliever

Avoid if you have stomach ulcer or take blood thinners.

4) Willow Bark
• Known as “nature’s aspirin”
• Helps reduce nerve pain and lower back pain

Avoid if you’re allergic to aspirin, pregnant, or on blood thinners.

5) Boswellia (Frankincense)
• Strong anti-inflammatory
• Helps nerve irritation and back pain

Best form: capsules or tea

6) Cayenne pepper (Capsaicin)
• Works well for nerve pain when used as cream
• Helps reduce burning pain down the leg

How to use:
• Apply capsaicin cream to the lower back/hip area (not on open skin)

7) Peppermint oil + Eucalyptus oil
• Helps relax muscles and reduce pain fast

How to use:
Mix a few drops with coconut oil and massage lower back + hip area.

Simple home tea for sciatica (daily)

You can combine:

Ginger + turmeric + cloves
• Boil for 10 minutes
• Drink once daily

Extra tips that help sciatica a lot
• Warm compress on the lower back/hip
• Gentle stretching (piriformis stretch)
• Avoid sitting too long
