🌟 Sunday Spotlight 🌟
Today we are honored to introduce Dasia Anderson, Huntington University — Class of 2026.
Dasia will be the first nurse in her family, a milestone she carries with deep pride and purpose. Her passion for nursing was shaped by her younger sister, who lives with Sickle Cell Anemia and has bravely undergone a splenectomy, adenoidectomy, and two full hip replacements — becoming the youngest person in Fort Wayne to receive that procedure.
Through every hurdle, Dasia watched nurses show compassion, skill, and unwavering support. Their care inspired her, and now she is determined to offer that same level of dignity, comfort, and strength to others.
“I don’t see many nurses of color. I am determined to break that barrier.”
Dasia, your commitment to representation, healing, and excellence is exactly why we do what we do. We are proud to support your journey and cannot wait to see the lives you touch and the future you help shape in nursing. 💚✨
Please join us in celebrating Dasia Anderson — a future nurse, a pathbreaker, and a powerful reminder that representation matters.
