Thank you, Love Steuben, for inviting us to be your mission moment last night and share about our expansion into Steuben County! Stillwater Hospice is now serving patients and their families through palliative services, hospice care, and grief support in 13 counties in northeast Indiana, including Steuben.

We're looking forward to seeing you on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the beautiful and historic Baker Street Train Station in downtown Fort Wayne for the 40th annual Holiday Memorial Service and Tree Lighting. This moving annual event provides a moment to remember our loved ones as the holiday season begins.

On Sunday, the youth of Aboite Baptist Church came to the Stillwater Fort Wayne Campus to perform a fall cleanup of our grounds. Lots of leaves, branches, and plant duff were raked and picked up, and lots of hot cocoa, Capri Suns, and cupcakes were consumed. Hearty thanks to the wonderful and engaging young people of ABC!

Stillwater Hospice celebrated National Philanthropy Day this morning with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Northeast Indiana Chapter. This event celebrated those who help leave the place better than they found it and awards those who make impact in our community! Stillwater Hospice had the following award nominees: Rob Nolot, Volunteer of the Year; Sally Lawson, Philanthropist of the Year; and Emily Lahr, Outstanding Development Professional.

Honoring Our Veterans
Today, we gathered for our We Honor Veterans ceremony to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service of the veterans in our community.
From the solemn folding of the flag and 21-gun salute to music, prayer, pinning ceremony and fellowship, it was a powerful reminder that we are forever grateful to those who have served our nation.
