Dear Friend,
Every day in our community, individuals and families are impacted by mental health challenges and Substance Use Disorder. If you’ve experienced this firsthand—or watched someone you love struggle—you know the pain, confusion, and devastation it can bring. At Recovery Café Fort Wayne, we see these experiences every day… and we meet them with love.
What you may not see behind the scenes is the team of dedicated people who show up—day in and day out—meeting individuals exactly where they are. We are on the front lines offering compassion, stability, resources, warm meals, winter coats, gas cards, peer support, and a safe place to be seen and valued.
We are a community of hope-builders.
We walk into difficult situations, crises, and heartbreak because every person deserves connection—not judgment. Many of us have lived this struggle ourselves, and we know how powerful it is when someone simply refuses to give up on you.
The truth is: this work is beautiful, but it is not easy. We work long hours. We stretch every dollar. We fight every day to keep our doors open so the most vulnerable among us never have to face their darkest moments alone.
And this is where you come in.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to stand with us. Your gift—no matter the amount—helps us provide gas cards for transportation, winter coats for warmth, food vouchers for stability, and a loving community for those who have nowhere else to turn.
If you have ever needed someone… if someone has ever lifted you up when you couldn’t do it on your own… we ask you to pay that hope forward today.
Your generosity will allow us to continue walking with individuals in their hardest moments—and celebrating with them as they rebuild brighter, stronger lives.
Together, we can turn struggle into strength.
Together, we can change the story.
