A great post from my book editor. If you’ve thought about writing a book this is for you.

When I was finishing up my book and people asked me about publishing and I’d respond that I was self-publishing I always got a response like “oh, I’m sure it will still be great”.
It’s become obvious that most people don’t understand self-publishing. Would I have loved a company to front me a large amount of money? Sure, but then the book is theirs. They have say of what goes in it, how it looks and what I communicate in it.
