The Mindful Moment

The Mindful Moment Yoga | Wellness with Amanda Christiansen 500 RYT Amanda began her journey into yoga over a decade ago.

It wasn't until 2020 that she became fully aware of the immense impact it could have on her life. She began practicing daily and knew this was the path for her after seeing the many benefits the practice was having on her physically, mentally and spiritually. Amanda completed the 200HR Yoga Teacher Training program with Pranayoga Institute in Fort Wayne, IN September of 2022 and began teaching rig

ht away. She is continuing her training at Pranayoga Institute and is currently in the 300 HR Level 1 Yoga Therapy program. Prior to Amanda’s current path, she spent 15 years as a residential real estate agent. She has a passion for helping and serving others to realize their goals and desires. Amanda left the field of real estate in 2021 to pursue other areas of interest and to find her true passion. Following the guidance of her intuition and diving deeper into the sacred practice of yoga, she has found the courage to pursue her dream of teaching and guiding others to find their own path to wellness through yoga and other holistic practices. Amanda is passionate about yoga, loves learning and teaching, and will forever be a student.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this passage from The Bhagavad Gita recently. It holds so much truth and as I continue as a student of yoga, I’m constantly peeling back layers of myself and uncovering more of my habitual thought patterns that have led me to this point in my life so far. The awareness that my yoga practice brings to me is like nothing else I’ve experienced. It’s rewarding to see, be aware and work to improve, accept or challenge my thoughts and actions.
So, this passage really explains the journey so eloquently
