Sometimes the breakthrough is in how you respond. đŸ™đŸœ

The enemy knows your old patterns. He knows what pushes your buttons, what stresses you out, what usually sends you spiraling. And he’ll keep sending the same situations your way, hoping you’ll react the same way every time.

When you choose to pause, pray, and respond differently, everything shifts. The enemy gets confused because he was prepared for who you used to be and not who God is healing and restoring right now.

Ask God to change your heart. He’ll remove the desire to react the old way and give you strength to walk in freedom. Do something different. Choose faith. Choose growth.

Let God fight the battle. 🙌🙏

As Christmas approaches, Hope Alive is once again launching our Tree of Hope: an opportunity for our community to bless the incredible women who are rebuilding their lives with courage and faith. Each item on our list represents a personal gift request from one of our residents.

If you’d like to share Christ’s love in a tangible way this season, we invite you to adopt a resident through the link below. After choosing a gift, simply return it wrapped to Hope Alive by December 15th.

Every donation, no matter the size, becomes a heartfelt reminder that these women are surrounded by compassion and support. Thank you for helping us spread hope this Christmas.🎄 🎁 🙏

We had the sweetest surprise this week at Hope Alive! đŸ€±

One of our past residents, Hannah, stopped by with her beautiful little baby girl, Luna, to drop off a donation for our christmas program that we do for our residents every year.

While they were here, Hannah added her handprint to our Wall of Hope : a reminder of the courage, growth, and incredible worth each woman carries with her long after she moves forward into the next chapter of her life. ❀

Moments like this remind us of God’s faithfulness and the beautiful community He’s built through Hope Alive. We are so grateful for Hannah, for Luna, and for every woman who has been part of this family đŸ„°đŸ«‚đŸ™

Today we celebrated three of our incredible interns!!

Paul, Adra, and Windy who have poured so much heart into their time with us at Hope Alive. Windy earned her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University, Adra completed her MSW from IU, and Paul graduated with his master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. We’ve loved watching them grow, support our residents, and bring so much warmth and compassion to our team. đŸ„°

We are excited to see them step into the next season God has prepared for them 🙏

Testimony TuesdayđŸ«¶

We had the sweetest visit from one of our past residents, Holly, and her daughter who was a big part of her healing transformation during her time at Hope Alive.

During her time here at Hope Alive, Holly walked through an incredible season of transformation. She and her daughter were both baptized while she lived here, marking such a powerful turning point in their story. Through perseverance, faith, and the steady grace of God, Holly continued to grow, heal, and rebuild her life.

Holly has continued to grow in incredible ways since leaving our program. She’s thriving, walking confidently in her faith, and has her daughter. ❀ Watching her step into motherhood with strength, joy, and purpose has been such a blessing!!

Because Holly's daughter was such a big part of Holly’s redemption story, we invited her to add her own handprint to our wall right beside her mom’s.

Stories like theirs remind us daily that God is at work here. He is in every hallway, every prayer, every transformed life.

We’re honored to be part of their journey and grateful for the countless people who support Hope Alive and help make moments like these possible.

Lord,

Thank You for being Almighty, All-Present, and All-Knowing. You see every detail we stress over before we even speak it out loud. Forgive us for the times we worry about things You’ve already worked out. Help us loosen our grip on fear and tighten our trust in You.

Remind our hearts that You’re not surprised, You’re not overwhelmed, and You’re never late. Teach us to rest in the truth that You’ve got a plan, You’ve got a purpose, and You’ve got us.

Keep hope alive in us today, and let Your peace do what our anxious thoughts never can.

In Jesus's Name,

Amen 🙏

The holidays are a wonderful time to pause and give thanks for the blessings God places in our lives such as the people we share life with, the moments that shape us, and the grace that carries us through each day. It’s a season that reminds us to lift our eyes and recognize His faithfulness in both the ordinary and the extraordinary.

But we also know this time of year can feel lonely for some. Maybe you’re missing someone, walking through a transition, or just feeling disconnected. If that’s where you find yourself, please know that you are not forgotten or alone. God sees you, loves you, and understands you.

If the holidays feel heavy, here are a few gentle tips:

Lean into God’s presence and allow Him to be with you. Pray, blast some of your favorite worship songs, dive into your Bible or just sit in silence and be with Him.

Reach out to someone you trust, even with a short text or call because connection matters.

Finding a way to serve or encourage others can also bring meaning and community when you need it most.

This season, may you experience God’s peace in real and comforting ways, and may you be reminded that you are loved, seen, and have incredible worth!

Testimony Tuesday !!

Jennifer’s story is a beautiful reminder of why Hope Alive exists. When she walked through our doors, she was ready for change. She was hurting, overwhelmed, and longing for peace. Through therapy, support, and a growing relationship with Jesus, she found healing, freedom, and a renewed sense of purpose.

At Hope Alive, we get to witness God transforming lives just like Jennifer’s every day. He restores what was broken and brings hope where there once was none. We’re so grateful for the courage of women like Jennifer who do the hard work, trust the process, and step into the life God has for them.
