Registration is now open for our annual Memories of Mom half-day retreat. This program is open to any adult who has experienced the loss of their mom or motherly figure, no matter how their relationship may have been. There is something nearly every week in April for programs! All of our programs are meant to be tangible tools to complement our individual counseling sessions and support groups. They're outlets to help you express your grief where words often aren't able to be expressed. This can be seen through movement: physical movement in yoga, dance, hikes, MELT, drumming; to movement of soundwaves to help calm the nervous system in our sound baths. All of these programs are available to any adult who has experienced a death-related loss, free of charge. The only thing we require is you register, due to limited capacity for each program offering. Here is an overview of our quarterly offerings for April. All programs are therapeutic outlets that provide an opportunity for adults to express their grief where words aren't there to express. These programs are free of charge to adults who have experienced a death-related loss; hospice involvement is not a requirement. Due to limited space, registration is required for each program. Registration is now open for our quarterly offering of Embodied Dance Movement with Julia of Tulip Tree Collective! Embodiment practices, like this form of dance, allows for you to connect to your emotions within your body and allow them to move through you, rather than get stuck in your body. No experience is necessary and practice is offered both in a seated format as well as standing on the floor. Express and shift your mood through dance!
