In observation of Earth Day, we wanted to share the benefits of getting out in nature. Not only is it easy to access, even from indoors looking out at nature, it's as simple as spending 5 minutes engaged with nature to gain the benefits. From stress reduction to improved focus and mental health, these all align with similar symptoms of grief. We always welcome you to check out the native prairie nestled between Stillwater Hospice's Hospice Home and the Grief Center for a quick reprieve. Another way to get out in nature with fellow grievers is at one of our Grief Hikes. However you like to spend time in nature, we hope it brings you peace. Our lending library is accessible at the Grief Center Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. If you can't find these copies at our library, check your local library or consider an interlibrary loan. All of these options are free for anyone to check out!
