This beautiful girl is Emmeline! She was born weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces in September at Holy Family Birth Center with Marianne. Thank you for your continued trust in our care!

Her mother kindly shared, "This is our 3rd baby with FMCC and 2nd baby born at the Holy Family Birth Center in the birthing tubs.

This time, I labored at home but was in denial that it was true labor since it was the night before my due date, and I had some prior days of practice contractions. I did feel like we should go to the birth center, though, and I'm so glad we left when we did because I measured at 9cm when I was checked. I'm pretty positive Marianne was worried it was going to be a parking lot birth when we first arrived. We were both grateful that it was not the case. I was able to get inside and into the birthing tub and delivered less than 45 minutes after our initial arrival!

We had such a great experience and could not be happier with our choice to deliver at the birth center. Each time, we were met with such a calming presence and knowledge of the midwives on call. I'm so grateful for FMCC and the Birth Center to be a part of our story for our final baby's birth."

His mother kindly wrote, "My first two baby's I got induced at the hospital. For our third baby I so badly wanted to experience labor naturally and get to give birth at the birth center. I am so grateful for the guidance, support, and encouragement of the midwives who helped me achieve the type of birth I had been praying for. On the days I felt discouraged or impatient they helped me remain focused and reminded me to trust my body. I am so grateful for my experience at FMCC and Homy Family Birth Center. Thank you for the important and valuable work you do."
