✨ Busy Hands in Our 2’s Program! ✨

Our Twos had an amazing time strengthening their fine motor skills this week through hands-on exploration and play!

🧵 Fine Motor Threading
Children worked hard threading colorful pipe cleaners through the holes of a colander — an activity that builds hand-eye coordination, finger strength, and problem-solving as they twist, pull, and maneuver each strand.

🌙 Nocturnal Animal Sensory Bin
We also introduced a sensory bin filled with beans, wood slices, and tiny trees for our nocturnal animal friends to explore! Sensory play supports language development, imaginative play, and early science concepts as children investigate textures, sounds, and pretend habitats.

We love watching curiosity bloom in our 2’s classroom through purposeful play. 💛

Our Pre-K friends spent some time this week working on patterning — an important early math skill that builds critical thinking, problem-solving, sequencing, and early logic development! 🙌

Using scissors, glue sticks, crayons, and lots of focus, our learners worked hard to identify, continue, and create their own patterns with fun seasonal shapes. 🍬🧡👻

We love watching their confidence grow as they explore hands-on activities that stretch their thinking and strengthen fine motor skills. 👏✂️🖍️

Our terrific Twos spent the day celebrating in the sweetest ways — snack plates full of favorites, balloon bouncing, cozy pajamas, and lots of curious little conversations around the table. 😄🎃

At this age, days are all about: ✨ exploring new textures and tastes ✨ practicing manners and sharing ✨ building social skills through play ✨ learning to celebrate together

🎃✨ Pre-K Halloween Party Fun! ✨🎃

Our Pre-K kiddos had an amazing time celebrating today with games, giggles, and festive treats! From Halloween Bingo to “Pin the Eye on the Monster,” pumpkin drinks, glow bracelets, yummy snacks, and time together with friends — this party was full of smiles and excitement. 👻🧡

We love creating memorable moments for our students where they can learn, play, and celebrate as a classroom community. Thank you to our families for helping make days like this so special! 🎉

What an amazing week of cozy sweaters, fall colors, silly socks, farmyard flannels, and the comfiest PJ day to finish it off! Our classrooms were full of giggles, creativity, and LOTS of festive outfits. 🎃🧦👕😴

A huge thank-you to all of our families for helping your little ones participate — they looked adorable every single day! ❤️

🎃 Little Praisers at the YMCA Trunk or Treat! 👻

What a spooktacular night! The YMCA’s Trunk or Treat event was a huge hit filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of candy to go around. 🍬 Families and local businesses went all out decorating their trunks—from silly to spooky—and our little trick-or-treaters showed off their best costumes with big smiles (and even bigger candy buckets!).

We loved seeing Little Praisers families and our community come together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and sweet memories. Events like this are such a great way to connect outside the classroom!

A big thank you to the YMCA for hosting, and to everyone who helped make it a night to remember. 🧡
