As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of donors like you to care for our horses, some of whom are rescued, and provide them a home filled with love and care. As children visit the Ranch and take part in barn chores, they learn about horse anatomy, horse health, care and safety. More importantly, they learn life skills, compassion for animals and the value of teamwork.

Volunteer Appreciation Post
Today we want to give a special shoutout to our incredible volunteers at Dare to Dream Youth Ranch for the amazing care they gave to Piper! 🐴💛

These photos capture what true dedication looks like. From patiently holding Piper steady, to carefully cleaning and checking her hooves, to making sure she feels safe and supported every step of the way, our team shows up with knowledge, compassion, and teamwork.

Hoof care isn’t always the easiest job, but it’s one of the most important parts of keeping our horses healthy and comfortable. As you can see, Piper was surrounded by calm, capable hands and gentle hearts. That kind of attentive care makes all the difference.

We are so grateful for volunteers who aren’t afraid to do the hard work, who bend down, get a little dirty, and give their time to ensure our horses thrive. Piper is lucky. We are lucky.
