Yesterday, our residents at Healthcare had a wonderful time celebrating at our St. Patrick’s Day party, filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of festive fun! Along with sharing photos from the celebration, our residents wanted to pass along what they felt was the perfect Irish blessing for all of our friends and family:

“Laughter to cheer you, faithful friends near you, and whatever you pray to heaven to hear you.”

We hope this blessing brings a little joy and warmth to your day, just as our celebration did here at Golden Years! ☘️

March is Team Member Appreciation Month, and today we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Nancy Htoo, Memory Care Coordinator at Golden Years! 💛

Though still new to Golden Years, Nancy has always had a deep passion for long-term care and a love for serving others. She says the residents in our Memory Care neighborhood make her smile, laugh, and give her a true sense of purpose. They’ve quickly become like family to her, and she approaches every day with the goal of caring for them the same way she’d want her own loved ones to be cared for.

Nancy’s dedication, compassion, and heart for service make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and families alike. We’re so grateful to have her as part of the Golden Years family! ✨

Our Memory Care residents and team members recently had the chance to “test drive” our brand-new Tovertafel table, and it was a hit!

The Tovertafel uses interactive games, puzzles, and activities designed especially for seniors living with dementia. These engaging experiences help encourage movement, laughter, and meaningful social connections among residents.

It’s just one of the many ways we’re continuing to innovate and enhance our care, making sure we’re providing engaging, supportive experiences for both our current residents and the generations to come. We loved seeing the smiles and excitement as everyone gave it a try!

Our beautiful onsite chapel offers a peaceful space for prayer, reflection, and worship — a place to find comfort, strength, and community. Last year, we helped residents soar in a hot air balloon and ride a locomotive for the very first time. This year, we’re ready to honor even more incredible dreams.

Even with the cold weather settling in, there’s no shortage of fun here at Golden Years! ❄️🏡

Our Assisted Living activities room is the perfect cozy spot to stay entertained and connected all winter long. Residents can enjoy a friendly game of pool, a round of shuffleboard, classic board and card games, and of course—our famous train set that’s always the talk of the whole building! 🚂✨

No matter how chilly it gets outside, there’s always something exciting happening inside!
