A few spots remain for this very powerful workshop.

Advance registration is required. Sign up a.s.a.p. in MindBody, at the studio or call 260 710 6428.

The workshop is for women navigating perimenopause or menopause who find themselves carrying anger, frustration, and emotional overload. We’ll welcome irritability and big feelings as natural responses to change. These are not problems to fix, but understandable responses in a culture that asks women to stay pleasant through discomfort.

Using somatic-informed yoga, we’ll move anger through the body in safe, powerful ways. Expect strong poses, intentional breathwork, and a grounded landing set to a ’90s soundtrack to match the mood. This is a space for honesty, humor, release, and taking up space.

Wear comfortable clothing, bring water, your yoga mat, and a notebook or journal.

Come and learn more about our February to June 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program as well as our new program Living Yoga Beyond the Mat, which will run in parallel to teacher training, focused on deepening one’s own practice with intensive instruction and experience in Yoga Anatomy, Ethics, Philosophy, Breath Work and Meditation, with no expectation of teaching and no required training in postures, and teaching techniques.

You have probably heard it said that postures make up only one-eighth of the full practice of yoga. Until now, the primary way to study the other seven-eighths was through 200-hour yoga teacher training.

We are pleased to now offer a parallel program for committed practitioners who want to study yoga deeply, without any expectation that they will teach (during or after training).

Living Yoga Off the Mat
A practice-centered yoga immersion designed for committed practitioners, not prospective teachers.

Living Yoga Off the Mat (LYOM) will run alongside our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from February 26 through June 4, 2026. The program is designed for students who want to deepen their practice —without the intensity or requirements of teacher training.

Students in LYOM will study Yoga Ethics, Breathwork, Anatomy, Yoga Philosophy, and Meditation alongside teacher training participants. Attendance at sessions teaching and reviewing postures is optional. LYOM participants will not be asked to create or lead posture sequences.

Both programs will take place at the studio on Thursday evenings from February 26 through June 4.

Teacher Training: 5:30–7:30 p.m. (heated vinyasa class and posture practice)

Teacher Training and Living Yoga Off the Mat: 7:30–9:30 p.m. (ethics, breathwork, anatomy, philosophy, meditation)

To learn more about either program, please join us for a free Training Information Workshop at the studio on Saturday, January 24 or Saturday, February 7, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the studio.

We will also hold a Zoom information session on Tuesday, February 3, from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m.

Tuition details and payment plan options for both programs will be discussed at the information sessions and are available in the meantime by request.

You may sign up for any information session through MindBody or at the studio. If in the meantime you have questions about the information sessions, the 200-hour Teacher Training, or Living Yoga Off the Mat, please email simplyyogafw@gmail.com or call or text 260-710-6428.

We are delighted to announce that, beginning on Thursday, January 15, we will be offering a new Heated Vinyasa Class (in addition to our ongoing Tuesday evening Heated Vinyasa class).

These classes focus on the breath while moving through series of postures. The sequence of postures may be different from class to class, but always progress intelligently from basic to complex. This style of yoga builds heat, flexibility and strength, while maintaining focus on good alignment and sound structure. This class moves at a faster pace. Class is heated to approximately 90 degrees.

The classes are fairly vigorous, but many find the relaxation after them profound. Give it a try!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reply by email or call or text to 260 710 6428

Last Chance to Sign Up

If you have experienced the loss of a loved one over the past few years, join us for this gentle, highly intentional practice of movement, breath-work, guided meditation, and relaxation. We will allow grief to move through the body, mind, and spirit with care and self-compassion. After roughly 75- 85 minutes of practice, we will hold space for reflection and sharing as much or as little as desired for whomever wishes to participate.

The workshop will be led by Lesa Rae Vartarian, Ph.D., developmental psychologist, death educator for over 25 years and Registered Yoga Teacher.

Donations to Erin’s House for Grieving Children will be gratefully accepted in lieu of any class fees.

Whether or not you were able to join the Yoga for Grief workshop in November and/or in December, you are more than welcome. January's session will be similar to, but not identical to the earlier workshops and it will not assume that attendees were with us previously. To reserve a space, or to ask questions reply to this email, send a text to 260 710 6428. You can also book on MindBody or at the studio.
