Please use the following website to search lot numbers affected by the voluntary similac formula recall. This includes similac, alimentum, and elecare products. If your child is currently on one of these products with the affected lot numbers, we recommend switching to the comparable ge**er or enfamil formula for now. If your child is on a specialty formula such as alimentum or elecare and you need a new order for a comparable product sent to WIC please call our office. If you have similac formula that is not affected by the recall, we recommend continuing to use that formula unless further recalls occur. Thank you.

Abbott is initiating a proactive, voluntary recall of powder formulas, including Similac®, Alimentum® and EleCare® manufactured in Sturgis, Mich., one of the company’s manufacturing facilities. The recall does not include any metabolic deficiency nutrition formulas.

Dupont Pediatrics has the following policy. Please remember to cancel or reschedule your appointments with at least 24 hours notice so we can open that appointment spot to another patient! Thank you in advance.

24 Hour Cancellation & “No Show” Policy

Each time a patient misses an appointment without providing proper notice, another patient is prevented from receiving care. Therefore, Dupont Pediatrics reserves the right to charge a fee of $20.00 for all missed appointments (“no shows”) and appointments which are not rescheduled with a 24 hour advance notice.

This “no-show charge” is not reimbursable by insurance. You will be billed directly for it, and required to pay it before we can see you again for an appointment.

After three consecutive “no-shows” or five total “no shows” to your appointments, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to best serve the needs of all our patients.

The office will be closed on the following dates in October: Oct 6-8 and Oct 12-15. Staff will still be available over the phone during this time to answer any questions and schedule appointments.

Flu shots are now available!! Give the office a call at 260-432-4913 to schedule an appointment.

**Your child can begin getting the flu vaccination at 6 months old. If this is the first year your child will be receiving the flu vaccination or if they did not receive a booster shot in previous years, plan to return to the office 1 month later for a booster shot.**

During this time, we are still offering well children appointments. These appointments are important to keep as they assess your child's rapidly changing development and allow you to discuss any concerns/problems with the physician. We also administer vaccinations during these appointments. We want to help keep your children healthy now and in the future! Give the office a call if you need to make a well child or sick appointment! :)
