Did you know 1 in 8 adolecents ages 13-18 has noise-induced hearing loss⁉️

Between headphone volume, live music, and other recreational events like fireworks and motorcycles, kids are entering adulthood with preventable hearing loss. Among other consequences, this can accelerate the age-related hearing loss they might experience later in life.

If your holiday calendar includes large group gatherings, this one’s you! ⁠🦃

Following conversations within a larger group of people is tough, especially with hearing loss. It might take a moment longer to process what others are saying for a listener with hearing loss, as they may not have caught everything. ⁠💡

Instead of jumping topics randomly, make it obvious. This can make a big difference for listeners with hearing loss! It can be just as simple as saying, “Remember the movie we saw last week?” Give it a shot this holiday season! ⁠🎄🎉
