Sue Hammond has been a vital part of our practice since 1981. She will still be coming around from time to time, but the era of her every day interaction with patients comes to a close today. Sue, we are so thankful for you and your many years of caring for people and sharing your love with everyone who walks through our doors. We will miss seeing you each day, but you are always welcome here.

Several months ago I was at a business getting shirts embroidered with my name and Logo. The owner was moving and standing awkwardly. I asked her problem. She had been scheduled for knee replacement 2 years ago and had to cancel. In the pursueing years she had gotten much worse and was scheduled for replacement the following week. I suggested she get her x-rays and come in for an exam. She had pictures of her films on her cell phone, (marvelous things aren't they?) I treated her on Friday and she cancelled the surgery. Two months later she is giddy with excitement and walks everywhere. She hasn't spent even the cost of the first MRI 2 years ago and the pain of 4 years is a bad memory.

How do you say thanks to a friend of 37 years, a prayer warrior, a patient, someone who can fix almost anything, cleans my carpets at the office and my home? Larry Ahrendsen of AHRENDSEN'S CARPET CARE, came in for care yesterday and stayed to find a water leak we have been searching for, for at least 3 weeks. Larry found it. He helped me find a temporary fix and then returned today to repair the leak. This project had already reached over a thousand dollars. He found the source and repaired it for less than $20 parts. I wish I were half the doctor for my patients as this man has been as my friend. Thanks Larry, may your family and business be blessed equal to the blessing you have been to me. Bill Miskelly

One of my patients, last week, had vertigo for over a week while on vacation. She returned to get adjusted and I gave her a paper about the Epley Maneuver. While I plan to make my own, this Youtube video will be of help to many with this problem. ( I really think 30 sec to a minutes would work well for most.)
