Biden-Harris Administration announces ANOTHER $31.5 Million in funding for Behavioral Health!

To advance President Biden’s Unity Agenda for the nation, HHS will award funding to support behavioral health for racial and ethnic minorities and other underserved populations, substance use treatment and recovery, and integration of primary and behavioral health care

SAMHSA has manual on certification & incorporating Peer Support into Substance Abuse Treatment. I highly recommend that anyone adding or participating in Peer Support within a treatment system refer to these manuals. They are superb!

This model standards guidance document, SAMHSA's National Model Standards for Peer Support Certification, is prepared in response to President Biden's 2022 Unity Agenda. This document outlines model standards for substance use disorder, mental health, and family/youth peer support certification.
