🎄 Is Your Christmas Tree Making You Sneeze? 🤧
You might be experiencing Christmas Tree Syndrome!
Christmas Tree Syndrome happens when allergy symptoms—like sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, itchy eyes, coughing, or wheezing—start after bringing a real or artificial tree into your home. While true pine allergies are rare, trees can carry mold, dust, and pollen that build up during storage or while growing outdoors. Even the pine scent can irritate sensitive sinuses and lungs.
✨ Tips to reduce symptoms:
✅ Rinse real trees with water and let them dry before bringing inside
✅ Wipe down artificial trees before decorating
✅ Keep your tree in a cooler area away from heating vents
✅ Run an air purifier
✅ If you’re symptomatic, allergy meds may help—check with your provider
