As I reflect on this past weekend I can’t help but be overly joyed and thankful. I got to meet some absolutely amazing individuals from around the world. So many great smiles, beautiful movers, stories, triumphs, scenery and passion.
The Mentor program at BASI headquarters wasn’t just about new exercises, it was about the precision and the dedication to the work. The work that can make the body feel fluid movement, strength, balance, mindfulness, but for me it gave me a sense of HOPE. I am no different than anyone else. We all have our struggles and hurdles. I continue to try to work through my personal body and mind hurdles. This weekend I found not just one moment, but multiple moments that my brain and body were overly filled with hope. I realized I’m not broken! This is my journey and it has made me better in my teaching, better in my connection, drives me in my dissection of movement, it encourages me to learn more, to try more, do more, overcome MORE!
I am honored to have met Rael, To have been taught by such high level instructors, thankful for Victoria showing me around the area and grateful for my husband Joe for allowing me to follow my dreams.
