Her Words. Her Journey. Her Legacy.
“From the minute I walked through the door, I knew I was going to be okay. I was treated with respect and encouragement, and there wasn’t a single member of the staff I couldn’t talk to. Even Chef cared about everyone!
I learned so many tools to help me better myself — and believe me, they work! Recovery is a choice, and so is where you go to start your recovery. NP is definitely a great choice.
Life is so much more fun being sober! I never knew how much fun I could have without a drink in my hand. Thank you, NP, and may God bless all of you!”
— Linda
Linda was more than an alumnus — she was a support for our community. An active member of our alumni program, she shared freely, supported others generously, and carried a warmth that made people feel safe, seen, and encouraged.
We will miss her deeply. To honor her life, her heart, and the way she enriched our community, we have created several meaningful tributes in her memory:
✨ Memorial Tributes to Linda
• An engraved plaque featuring her nickname, “Grandma Linda,” now rests on one of the rocking chairs she loved — a place where she often found comfort, reflection, and peace.
• A memorial ornament has been created to hang on the lobby tree, shining brightly as a reminder of her spirit throughout the season.
• A matching ornament has been gifted to her family so they can carry a piece of her memory home.
Linda was a proud Lions fan, a lover of special dark chocolate, and a steady source of kindness. Her impact will continue to be felt by everyone she touched.
She will always be part of the NPRC family — loved, remembered, and celebrated. 🤍
