Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne is a continuing care living center that welcomed its first residents in January 2015. Nearly 90,000 square feet, the living center includes all levels of care - independent and assisted living apartments, healthcare, rehabilitation, and memory care. The Villas at Heritage Lakes is a 65-and-over free-standing, independent-living villa community located right on our campus. Six floor plans, two and three bedroom models, two baths, two car garages. Our club house with fitness room, kitchen/coffee bar and gathering room is completely accessible at all times by our residents. Four lakes and nearly a mile of paved walkways add to the beauty of the neighborhood. We are the third location of Heritage Pointe Communities, and proudly affiliated with Heritage Pointe of Warren, IN and Heritage Pointe of Huntington. All Heritage Pointe Communities locations are owned and operated by the United Methodist Memorial Home (UMMH).

Meet Our Board Member: Glenn J. Knepp

Rev. Glenn J. Knepp brings decades of ministry experience and a deep passion for senior living to his role on the Board of Directors for United Methodist Memorial Home. As lead pastor of St. Joe UMC, he is committed to serving both his congregation and the broader community, which are values he carries into his board service.

His dedication to enhancing the quality of life for older adults makes him a valued part of our leadership team.

Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne enjoyed a joyful and festive Easter celebration this year!

Our annual egg hunt was a hit, with attendees sharing plenty of smiles and laughter. The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance, bringing along sweet treats and holiday cheer for everyone to enjoy.

It was a wonderful day filled with community, connection, and memorable moments for all!

Residents and team members gathered in the Bistro for a fun St. Patrick’s Day treat: shamrock dirty sodas!

These festive drinks were mixed with coconut cream, vanilla syrup, sweet cream, and Sprite, then topped off with a splash of green for extra holiday spirit. The finishing touch? A sour candy rainbow for a little extra luck and sweetness!

We’re feeling extra lucky to be part of such a sweet (and spirited!) community!
