Ever wondered what endometriosis actually looks like?

This is a real robotic excision surgery (yes, the patient said yes to sharing it with you).

What you’re seeing: classic “powder burn” endometriosis lesions in the deep pelvis (the cul-de-sac), being completely removed using the Da Vinci robot. No burning, no ablating: full excision, which is essential for long-term pain relief and fertility preservation.

I also perform pelvioplasty at the end to repair the areas where the endometriosis was removed to prevent scar tissue and protect the ovaries and Fallopian tubes.

This is what real endometriosis treatment looks like. Let me know if you’d like to see more and comment ENDO to get our free endometriosis resources.

If your goal is to have a natural hospital birth, having a team of providers you can really trust is absolutely essential.

A Catholic hospital canceled a sterilization procedure. Of course, the internet lost it.

But here’s what’s missing from the outrage: first, hospitals have the legal right to decide what procedures they perform. You also have the right to choose a different hospital. That’s the beauty of American healthcare. Second, there’s definitely more to this story — the hospital just can’t legally tell you. And that’s also an important part of the healthcare industry.

“Medically necessary abortion” — there really is no such thing. Women deserve better than the misinformation and fear tactics they get when they’re facing an emergency.

Ectopic pregnancy? Sepsis? HELLP syndrome? Eclampsia? None of those or any other complication requires the intentional destruction of a baby to provide treatment for the mother.

There is not a single abortion ban in America preventing a doctor from treating these conditions. Not my opinion — look it up for yourself.

It can be so hard for men to know how to handle their own grief after the loss of a child and also want to be a support for their wife as she deals with grief and physical trauma. But the reality is, usually what she needs is simply your presence.

Our Mission

To care for women and their families in a way that is scientifically and morally sound, while respecting a woman’s ability and right to manage her health, pregnancy care, and birth experience to the extent she desires. To accomplish this, we utilize the expertise of both Obstetricians/ Gynecologists and Certified Nurse-Midwives in a fully integrated model of care that allows both groups of professionals to offer their very best. The result: patients and their families receive personalized, comprehensive care they simply cannot receive in any other model of care.

We are an authentically pro-life practice. As part of our vision, we utilize Creighton Fertility Model/NaProTECHNOLOGY™ and therefore do not prescribe artificial contraceptives, place IUD’s, perform sterilization procedures, refer for in-vitro fertilization (IVF), or refer for or participate in pregnancy termination (abortion) under any circumstance.

We believe our practice is most certainly and purposefully different from most. It is not our desire to care for everyone, but to care for everyone that needs our unique approach to care. We believe unencumbered access to our providers is a key component to our successful outcomes. As such our patients are encouraged to communicate with us directly via the means that works best for them including cell phone, email, and text messaging. We believe it is an honor to serve as partners with our patients in their healthcare and we do everything possible to treat the sanctity of that relationship with the respect it deserves.
