Hello everyone! My name is Malayshia Reid, and I am the founder of Doula Birth Your Way. 💜

I provide private doula care for mothers and families, offering support through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. My mission is simple: no mother should have to walk this journey alone.

Through my work, I also created Cradle and Cares, a program focused on helping mothers access resources, support, and community during pregnancy and early motherhood.

Supporting women during birth is more than a job for me — it’s a calling. Seeing mothers feel safe, confident, and empowered during one of the most important moments of their lives is why I do this work.

We are currently accepting new moms into our maternal support program designed to provide education, resources, and hands-on support for healthy pregnancies and empowered births.

All pregnancies are not always easy and rainbows it’s not always joy and excitement it’s in the moments where the room all of a sudden stands still it’s when mom collapses after hearing bad news it’s holding mom during tough decisions and choices it’s holding mom when she feels nothing it’s whipping tears and holding her and all her fears it’s in the moments where where the ultrasound room becomes not so exciting anymore it’s meeting with specialist and hoping for good news and hearing nothing but bad it’s encouraging mama that she’s still amazing and wonderful and that she’s still a mother it’s sitting in silence together when the doctor ask questions that you can’t quiet imagine to answer it’s in these moments where my client says to her family to step out but for me to stay while she cries and falls in my arms it’s in these moments that it counts the most being a doula no matter how far the travel I’ll be there for my clients

Ok this has by far been the funniest nicest interaction I have had with an ob and their staff team we def had a good time at this visit and yes I was given permission before recording and we had a really good time mama your glowing and growing so beautiful 30 weeks mamas your almost there 🫶🏾💙🤰🏾
