You can love someone and feel hurt by them.
You can be healing and still have hard days.
You can want connection and need space.
You can be strong and still need support.

The power of and is one of the most freeing tools we have in therapy. So much of our suffering comes from believing it has to be either/or, but life is more spacious than that. Your emotions get to coexist. You get to be complex. You get to be human.

This month, at Willow Center, we’re feeling especially grateful for our clients, colleagues, and community who remind us daily of the power of growth, resilience, and compassion.

This month, we encourage you to take a moment to pause—whether that’s through journaling, gratitude practice, or simply noticing the small moments of peace in your day. Healing often happens in those quiet, intentional pauses. We’re so thankful to walk alongside you in your journey.

With gratitude,

Our Story

We are a group of like-minded therapists and instructors who believe in helping people to help themselves. Our motto of Healing with the flexibility to bend, and not break, came from the fact that willow trees rarely get blown over in storms due to their flexible branches and extensive supportive root systems. Through strengthening support networks, learning to be flexible, and stay present to the trials and tribulations life throws our way we can remain strong and steady in the storms of life.

Our mission is to honor your story, foster empowerment and cultivate healing through trauma focused care.
