We are excited to announce our 2026 partnership with Ashley-Hudson Fire Rescue!
They will serve as the primary host agency for our community outreach Pre-Hospital Hemorrhage Control courses throughout the year.

This collaboration will strengthen training opportunities not only for the citizens and first responders of Steuben and DeKalb counties, but also for the broader Tri-State region of Michigan, Ohio, and Northeast Indiana. Open-book pelvic injuries disrupt the pelvic floor and frequently tear the pelvic venous plexus. The resulting displacement expands pelvic volume, allowing significantly greater blood loss before any natural tamponade can occur. Due to this early and often severe hemorrhage, patients commonly present in a hypovolemic state. In the pre-hospital setting, applying a pelvic binder—such as those provided by SAM Medical—provides life-saving hemorrhage control by reducing pelvic volume and stabilizing the pelvic ring.

Who are We?

We’d like to welcome everyone to Medical Emergencies Dynamic Training and Consulting; or MED for short. MED Training and Consulting is a subsidiary of JF Arms Company.

MED Training and Consulting offers medical and trauma training for civilians, first responders, LEO, and military personnel. Our lead instructor has over 8 years of experience as a prehospital paramedic. We strive for provide each student with the best training possible so during critical times they will be able to provide the care needed to save the life of their loved ones, friends, and or innocent victims. Along with providing training classes, we will be offering non custom and custom first aid (IFAK) to suit your ever growing first aid needs.
