Our retiring Executive Director, Meg Distler, was honored as a “Sister” this morning by leaders within the local Burmese community and Charities for the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation's work in helping refugees and Burmese Nationals build new lives safely in the USA.

Today, an estimated 30,000 Burmese nationals enrich the greater Fort Wayne community. The Foundation operated a Community Resource Center for Refugees from 2008 to 2012, which had more than 58,000 visits from local refugees, most of whom were Burmese nationals.
