Welcome to the PYFW team, Claudia 💛
Claudia is trained in the Somatic Vinyasa Yoga Therapy method through Pranayoga Institute. For over 15 years, she has led yoga honed to various fitness demographics including dancers, martial artists, and university continuing education programs. She was drawn to the practice over 30 years ago as a means to continue the dance and gymnastics activities she enjoyed as a teenager. Seeing what her dance community was beginning to teach as possibly injury-promoting, she was determined to offer more mindful movement practices to dancers by becoming an instructor herself. She now devotes her experience exclusively to yoga. Claudia is currently training as a yoga therapist. She enjoys infusing therapeutic alignment methods to the various styles of yoga she serves, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and restorative.
When not on the mat, she still enjoys dancing as a student (sometimes over and around her prize mutt who is a champion of keeping rugs - and yoga mats - on the floor), studying classical guitar, and hosting dinners with friends.
