Our final Meet the Doulas of 2025 was a success! We had such a great time at the Peggy F Murphy Community Center meeting with expecting families, eating delicious food from Cocina Cura, and connect with La Leche League and Babywearers of Northeast Indiana.

Meet the Doulas is tomorrow! Don't miss this fantastic evening of speed-dating with great local doulas to find the perfect fit to support you during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It starts promptly at 6PM in the Peggy F Murphy Community Center, 5920 Homestead Rd. Fort Wayne IN 46814.

Meet the Doulas is just one week away!

Join us October 21 at 6PM to Meet the Doulas!

This quarterly event is hosted by the Doula Network of Fort Wayne, and open to any family planning to give birth in Northeast Indiana! This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with multiple doulas one-on-one and to learn which doula might be the right fit for your unique desires and goals, both during your birth and the postpartum period.

We have also invited Justine Shirley of Babywearers of Northeast Indiana (BWNI) to attend to give families the opportunity to learn about babywearing throughout the evening, and Camille of La Leche League will be there to introduce families to local breastfeeding support groups!

With the ACNM, we’re celebrating the incredible Certified Nurse Midwives who shape birth culture with wisdom, compassion, and skill. Doulas and midwives partner together to support and honor families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is such an honor to work alongside CNMs!

The Doula Network of Fort Wayne was so humbled to participate in the Walk to Remember this afternoon. As we walk alongside families in the midst of loss, we honor the babies who never get to walk with us.

Tomorrow, the Doula Network of Fort Wayne will be at the Walk to Remember at Huntertown Family Park.

This annual event is a tender and beautiful way to honor the babies who are no longer with us on earth. Whether you’ve experienced loss yourself or want to walk in support of others, you’re welcome here.

We’ll have a table set up from 10AM and would love for you to stop by. Together, we remember, we honor, and we walk the steps they will never walk.

Thank you to Nicole Bobay, PT, MPT for sharing your wisdom and skill with the DNFW this afternoon! It was great learn about pelvic alignment and how we as doulas can give our clients for information and tools to support their bodies.
