We're hosting a Mental Health First Aid Certification class on Saturday, March 21st at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne — and you’re invited!

🧠💙 This full-day, in-person training is your chance to learn how to support someone experiencing a mental health or substance-use challenge.

Yesterday AOS held a great CALM training at VFW post 857! We cannot thank the VFW enough for letting us host our training there and for their support in continuing our mission.

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 3rd, 3:00-5:00 for Conversations on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) training!
The goal of CALM training is to save lives by empowering both professionals and community members to have collaborative, non-judgmental conversations about safely storing or removing lethal means during a suicidal crisis. The training will cover warning signs of mental health crises and su***de, how to ask about su***de, and how to have a collaborative conversation about making the environment safer for someone in distress, effectively reducing the risk of a completed su***de.
