Here are some interesting facts about the delicious cake flavor option:

🥕Medieval Roots: Most food historians believe carrot cake evolved from carrot puddings eaten in Europe during the Middle Ages.

🥕Sugar Substitute: Carrots were used in desserts because sugar was a rare and expensive luxury. After sugar beets, carrots contain more natural sugar than any other vegetable.

🥕"Doctor Carrot": The British government even created a cartoon character called Doctor Carrot to encourage citizens to eat more carrots and use them in baking.
