What are the signs of Tourette Syndrome?

If you or someone you know, especially under 18 years of age, is experiencing sudden behaviors such as blinking repeatedly, shrugging shoulders, gulping or humming, there is a possibility of Tourette Syndrome. If these behaviors persist for months, it's a good idea to talk to a healthcare provider.

We are so thankful to have Ms. Karen Springer on our team of skilled nurse practitioners! She practices general neurology and is our specialist in Parkinson's disease and spasticity management.

Ms. Springer is also a 2018 Edmond J. Safra Visiting Nurse Faculty Program graduate at the Parkinson’s Foundation (PF). As a PF Nurse Scholar, Ms. Springer joins the elite group who have completed this intensive training over the last nine years and educates over 20,000 nursing students on PD annually.

We are truly fortunate to have her!
