Say hello to Shiloh! He was born weighing 5 pounds 16 ounces in February with Nicky. What a blessing!

His mother kindly shared, "Arriving at the hospital was very scary. I was at 8 centimeters and ready to labor. I was in so much pain I begged to have an epidural despite my birth plan stating I did not want medication. If it wasn't for the midwife who suggested we break my water and just had the baby I would have derived from my plan. I am ever so thankful she suggested this because about 4 minutes later our son was born! Thank you for your support during this time and for helping me feel calmer and safe."

Join our team!⁠ We are seeking individuals who have a passion for natural birth and ideally work history as a Labor & Delivery RN or NICU RN. Nurses join the midwife as birth approaches and stay throughout the 6-hour postpartum stay. Our nurses are an essential part of our HFBC family providing labor support, emergency care, postpartum support and guidance, and breastfeeding assistance.⁠

Specific job requirements include:⁠
- Able to pick up 3 twelve-hour call shifts per month⁠
- Availability to arrive at our facility within 30 minutes of a call⁠
- RN with experience in Labor & Delivery or NICU⁠ is preferred but open to considering experience in other specialties and new grads⁠
